This is the old church, built as original Chapel of the first Misericórdia hospital (15th Century).
Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Populo, designed and built by Diogo Boitac, the same architect who created the imposing Mosteiro dos Jeróminos in Belém, Lisbon. This church gives its name to my parish, one of the sixteen civil parishes that make up the municipality of Caldas da Rainha, Portugal.

But seriously, I like this one a lot. Good contrast between the church and the sky. I miss palm trees!
