Hi there, my friends!

On my last poll I asked "where are you from?" egil21.deviantart.com/journal/…. I was curious - I like so much to travel but it's impossible to go everywhere! The Internet is a wonderful tool to know more and to see more

I started by featuring my hometown, Caldas da Rainha. You may find the feature here egil21.deviantart.com/journal/…

  Selina is from Romania



"Romania is the ninth largest country of the European Union by area, and has the seventh largest population of the European Union with 21.5 million people. Its capital and largest city is Bucharest, the sixth largest city in the EU with about two million people.

The Kingdom of Romania emerged when the principalities of Moldavia and Wallachia were united under Prince Alexander John Cuza in 1859. Independence from the Ottoman Empire was declared on May 9, 1877, and was internationally recognized the following year. At the end of World War I, Transylvania, Bukovina and Bessarabia united with the Kingdom of Romania.
A high percentage (47% of the land area) of the country is covered with natural and semi-natural ecosystems. Since almost half of all forests in Romania (13% of the country) have been managed for watershed conservation rather than production, Romania has one of the largest areas of undisturbed forest in Europe. The integrity of Romanian forest ecosystems is indicated by the presence of the full range of European forest fauna, including 60% and 40% of all European brown bears and wolves, respectively."

Marine is from Aiguebelette-le-lac, in France.

The geographical location of the Lac d'Aiguebelette, enclosed by the mountains for a long time, enables it to keep a genuine character and protected environment. Its ecological exuberance makes it an ideal sight for fishing. Its shores and pretty three-sided blanket of water have stayed very unspoilt with reed, luxuriant aquatic fauna and flora, little houses on palisades, boathouses, fishing boats."

Ross is from Hampshire, England.
