Six years ago, on the 12th November 2010, Stephanos MamoruK1N founded this group.
Last October Stephanos gave me the points to upgrade us to Super Group, so we have much to celebrate!

Let's start our festivities with a Contest!

Contest Announcement (12th Nov 2016)

Today starts our contest with the theme "Portraits" at the group AllArtSupport.

What do we want to see?
Good art, amazing portraits, all kind of traditional or digital portraits, photography or photomanipulated portraits.

But what are portraits?
"Portraits are works of art that record the likenesses of humans or animals that are alive or have been alive."
"Portrait is a likeness of a person, especially of the face, as a painting or a drawing."

- So, can you submit fantasy, an imaginary face?
Yes!

- So, can you submit a drawing of a body in which we can not see the head?
No!

- And can you submit a full body drawing?
Yes, but we have to see the face clearly.

Rules to enter the Contest "PORTRAITS"

You have to be a member of AllArtSupport, (or a member in our affiliates: Soulcollectors, TheFavouriteShowcase, Global-Photos, Nine-Muses or TraditionalPainting) to submit to the contest folders;

The contest starts on the 12th November 2016 and you have until the 31st December 2016 (it won't be extended) to submit ; then, the participants will be voting until the 15th January 2017 and I'll be announcing the winners and giving the prizes on the 29th January 2017;

All works should be new (posted on DA from the 12th November 2016 until the end of the contest) and made exclusively for this contest (very important!) - so to make sure you are doing a new piece you must include in your work: a yellow flower/leaf or a blue accessory or a red ribbon - traditional artists working with graphite, charcoal or other similar medium must include one of the same objects but it can be colourless;

You may submit 2 pieces on each category and who enters to one folder may also enter the other, in a total of 4 works from the same author.
The members of our affiliates can submit 1 piece to each folder;

We'll accept any kind of portraits: self-portraits, celebrities portraits, animal portraits, etc. But all pieces must be a drawing or a painting (traditional and digital art) for the 1st category, and a photography or photomanipulation (being "photomanipulation" the combination of at least 2 photos) for the 2nd Category;

Provide a link or a thumb to this blog ON YOUR ARTIST'S COMMENTS ON YOUR DEVIATION and please refer you are entering this contest. Also write your references, if you use any, and you may write the used tools. Photomanipulations must refer the stocks;

You may sign your work, of course, but please don't use big or intrusive watermarks;

The submissions are NOT automatically accepted, during the submission period I'll supervise them to make sure each work fits the theme and follows the rules - so, you will have the chance to withdraw and submit another work. Anyway, please make sure you have followed the rules!

The accepted submissions can't be removed and replaced for other work, so be sure that the work you submit to the contest is the one you want in the contest.

YOU will be the judge!

ALL members entering the contest will have to vote and only the members entering the contest will vote. When the time comes I'll tell you how to vote.
If you don't vote to choose your favourites, then you won't be eligible to win;

The prizes* are:

Prizes (on each category)
1st place - 1200 Points

2nd place - 800 Points

3rd place - 400 Points

Viewer's Choice: 200 Points

After the participants voting we'll have a voting for all deviants - the 10 most voted pieces after the winners on each category will be featured in a blog and everyone can vote to choose the winner.
