As usual, as we celebrate our anniversary (4 years
now) the time for our contest has come!
It's the renewal season, after a cold, damp, grey Winter (I know, not in the South Hemisphere - but you continue to have good weather there so you will be with the right mood to participate too).
Let's welcome the Sun, the blue skies, the warm weather with our annual contest "The Colours of Renewal"!
What do I want to see on this 4th contest?
The same as the previous years:
Vibrant colours! Warming sensations! Brightness! Joy!Again we are welcoming
"The Colours of Renewal" and you can participate with Traditional Art, Digital Art and Photography.
Only members can participate, so if you aren't a member just join us. Take in consideration that this is a contest - to be fair, YOU (who are participating) have to vote!
Not in a poll, you will have to do a little more effort 
if you don't vote, you won't be eligible to win!The Contest folder will be open on the 30th March and you will have the opportunity to submit your works on each Theme - you will have 3 opportunities to join and win.
Remember you can submit pieces of any medium, Traditional Art, Digital Art and Photography, focused on the rebirth and renewal typical of the Spring season.
Please, pay attention to the rules:
Rules to enter the Contest "The Colours of Renewal"
The theme of this contest is the rebirth and the renewal.
The works should be coloured: the exception is traditional art, where you may submit graphite (or an alike medium) works.
You have to be a member to submit into the contest folder, all contributors are welcome to join too;
The contest starts on the 30th March and it will be open until the 15th April.
The categories of Traditional Art and Digital Art will have an extension of the submission period until the 22nd April.
All Members are welcome to join the contest and can submit three pieces: all works should be new and submitted to dA after or on the 20th March.
Literature isn't accepted, though you can submit Visual Literature.
Any other medium is accepted (traditional art, digital art and photography);
There is only one folder to submit to and it's here thefavouriteshowcase.deviantar…
You will submit your works here and you have 3 opportunities to do so: the medium used is your choice (you may submit 3 photos; 2 drawings and 1 digital piece; just 1 pixel; or 2 landscapes painted on a canvas...it's really your choice I'm just giving you the opportunity to enter 3 times (just remember all works must be new on dA - you may use an old photo, no worries about the camera data, but newly submitted to deviantART);
You may verify that are also created 3 subfolders: Traditional art, Digital art and Photography. I will be organizing these folders as your works come in. When the time comes to vote you will be voting on each category and each category will have the correspondent prizes;
The submissions aren't automatically accepted, I'm supervising them to make sure they fit the theme - I reserve to myself the right to decline them, always giving you the chance to withdraw and to submit another work;
YOU will be the judge!
All the members entering the contest will have to vote and only the members entering the contest will vote.
When the time comes I'll tell you how to vote. If you don't vote to choose your favourites, then you won't be eligible to win.
The voting period for Photography is:
17th April - 24th April / Winner announced on the 27th April
The voting period for the categories of Traditional Art and Digital Art is:
24th April - 1st May / Winner announced on the 3rd May

1st Place on each category
1000 points
If you have announced your participation on your work description (artist's comments) by adding a link to this journal or our stamp you'll get 100 points extra!!!
2nd Place on each category
500 points
If you have announced your participation on your work description (artist's comments) by adding a link to this journal or our stamp you'll get 100 points extra!!!
The 3 most voted after the winners in each category will still have the opportunity to win "The Deviants' Choice" (more info on April, at the contest end).
